Time Marches on....

Joe's first carousel ride. They have a beautiful old carousel at the museum in Albany that cousin Fabs was kind enough to take us to. Joe was a little hesitant but tolerated the whole thing rather well. I got a few smiles but for the most part he had the look of contemplation on his face. Actually I should clarify, while on the merry-go-round he was not sure but watching it go round with all the cool lights and movement and music was right up Joe's alley.
Joe's Easter basket and first pair of sun glasses.
Joe looking cool.
What we woke up to this morning. Yuck. I am so ready for warmer weather.
My boys snuggling in for one last winter day. Hopefully last.
I am tired and sick as is the little man who did not sleep very well last night so forgive anything that doesn't make sense in this entry. Ed has been sick for the last week, I thought Joe and I had lucked out and skipped this icky upper respiratory infection. No such luck, it hit us both like a brick wall yesterday. I have not had body aches like this since a 1000 pound horse rolled over on me. Poor Joe had a rough night but seems happier this morning. He is crawling around pulling himself up and walking along as he holds the edges of stuff, occasionally letting go but quickly grabbing back on to whatever he had a hold of. The above picture was taken shortly after he decided that he had done enough for the morning.
He took his first steps on Saturday the 22nd but has not been to eager to repeat the ordeal. He does like to grab mom or dad by the hand and go. He will drag us all over the house as he investigates every little nook and cranny.
Love you all Nikki
