All right I'm not sure which step I skipped in the previous blog but I think I finally got the picture thing down. Happy Oma?

Joe is doing well, teething like a little mad man but surviving it. This week he finally noticed that we have a bunch of dogs running around the house. He is fascinated with them and stares at Cole with utter amazement. He is also quite in love with our cat Elphabe and love to pet her when she walks by. He won't reach out for her on his own yet but giggle with delight when I help him. She is also quite interested in him.

The electricians made it out this week so we are now ready to get the new ceiling put in on the porch which as you can see is a disaster. Oh well, we are learning to live in the decorative style known as war zone.

Hope you all are happy and healthy as we are. Love Nikki

I'm back

Well that only took... well a lot longer then I it meant to. It's crazy how each day seems to just fly by. I always start the day with the best of intentions... Today is the day I am going to get all the house cleaning done, play with my son , read to him, read to me, post on my new blog, upload photos, brush the horses, clean the stalls, catch Owen and brush him, bath the dogs, pull the staples out of the stairs and put my new carpet treads down, clean off my desk, start Joey's scrapbook... You get the picture. Well tonight I finally remembered that I really wanted to figure out how to get photos on this blog so here goes nothing.

Worth A Try

What the heck, I might as well try this whole blogging thing. Everyone else is. Besides this way I can keep the folks who want to be up to date on our goings on and I can stop harassing the poor folks who just want to get through their e-mail quickly with out hearing about the fact that my son made the cutest cooing sound today. OK, who am I kidding, everyone wants to know about all the cute things my son does.
So far today has been pretty exciting. The contractor was here this morning and he and his guy took the shower board off our shower. Then the plumber came and put new pipes in the shower. Yeah no more leaking. The contractor then ripped the ceiling off the porch and everyone headed home after they putmy shower back together. Hopefully we will be getting the electrician here in the next week to rewire the porch so we can put it back together. I'll upload some photos later.
Joe, the dogs and I spent the morning out on our new back deck while all this was going on. Joe had a great time dancing with a little help from mommy and loves being outside. Poor little guy wore himself out he is sound a sleep in his stroller as I am writing this.
I guess I should stop fooling around on the net and get some house work done.
Love you all and hopefully I can manage to keep everyone up to date on Joey and the farm.
Nikki
